2012 Rule Change Highlights |
|
*The Roadster under
Saddle class (previously open to both horses and ponies showing together)
has been changed to two separate classes: Roadster Horse under Saddle
(riders 15 and over) and Roadster Pony under Saddle (riders 17 and under).
This makes the MHA match the new NEHC class Roadster Horse under Saddle.
(Rule Book page 121) |

|
*Hunter
Seat Pleasure Equitation has been moved to the Equitation Section.
Exhibitors are reminded that this is a flat class open to riders 17 & under
AND amateur adults. Riders in this class cannot enter the Hunter Seat
Equitation Division (for juniors, short stirrup or amateur adults) for the
entire show season. A flat championship class will count for
points.(Rule Bk p. 98) |

|
*At
shows also affiliated with NEHC, MHA will now accept a copy of the NEHC
Steward's Report, provided a separate report is filled out substituting MHA
any place it says NEHC. (Rule Bk p 26. |

*All
other changes were "housekeeping" and did not alter any rules. |
