From the Officers, Board and Staff of MHA |
|
The Maine Horse Association was founded in 1932 and incorporated
by the State of Maine in June of 1939.
The object of this Association:
- to encourage horseback riding in the
state of Maine
- to map, mark and develop horse trails
throughout the state
- to issue, when they may be needed,
trail guide books, maps and calendars of equestrian events.
- to encourage and aid in the breeding
and use of saddle horses, hacks, hunters, polo ponies and harness and
draft horses
- to encourage and aid in the planning of
trail rides and the promoting of horse shows, riding clubs and other
equestrian activities

treasurer, Penny Cote, we heartily welcome Alison Clark
as our new treasurer.
